What's it like to live in Aberfeldy?

Is it an area on the up? What are the pros and cons of living here?

  I've not lived here but only passed through in my travels. I remember the 'Birks of Aberfeldy' being very beautiful! The town was quite small with most shops around The Square, oh and someone did say JK Rowling has a house nearby so I'd say the area is on the up!
