There are ample shops, lovely views, the people are friendly and there are plenty of parks in Arbroath . There is the recently refurbished theatre in Arbroath, the harbour, lots of lovely places to go for walks and farms around Arbroath that sell local produce. There is always fresh fish for sale, local sea fishing spots for the keen angler, boats that offer fishing trips and several events throughout the year including the Sea Fest. The local Red Lichties (locals) always welcome new visitors. There are lots of additional amenities on offer in the summer months. These include tennis, family activities and games during the summer months. The two sports centres hold all year round activities for all the family. Arbroath also has an excellent college, lots of primary and two secondary schools. There are a lot of local shops that sell an array of gifts, clothes, hardware goods, electrical goods and furniture. There are three medical centres, two hospitals and a 24 hour medical emergency service.
