What's it like to live in Barton-Upon-Humber?

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area. If you are moving to the area speak to people within the local community

  • Loads to do in Barton, lots of pubs, restaurants, shops, theatre, leisure centre, parks etc

  • I moved to Barton Upon Humber in September 2012 from Hessle, East Yorks, in my experience I would say the people aren't the friendliest here. If you're not a Bartonian then they can appear unfriendly. I've lived in Hessle for 12yrs plus and Swanland for 20yrs plus and the people in both places are lovely.

  • Friendly and a large retirement community lovely high street and a strong community spirit, people always willing to help if needed, health centre, restaurants and shops near to hand. Also has a strong church following with two beautiful churches one Saxon, one medieval.
