  • Home Reports in Scotland are unaffected by the abolition of Home Information Packs (HIPs) in England and Wales. Home Reports are a devolved matter so responsibility lies entirely with the Scottish Government and Scottish Parliament. The Scottish Government remains committed to Home Reports.

  • We have received further confirmation yesterday from the Scottish Housing Minister that Home Reports will continue in Scotland for the foreseeable future, although they intend to carry out a review over the next year to assess what, if any, improvements need to be made.
