Beauly is a very busy little village on the beauly Firth north of Inverness city. It is a pituresque area of hills and trees big river and pretty village with many hanging baskets in summer three hotels and best of all for those who like caravan holidays my daughters three large residential holiday caravans highabove the village with magnificent views to the kessock bridge. A very popular location. Kites fly high and buzzards for bird fanciers and red and roe deer abound red squirrels are often seen and badgers are common in the surrounding areas. There are many places to stay and eat all cuisens available in village and lots of shops two co-ops butchers a delcatesens and clothes shops a hardware shop antique shop fruit shop and opticians 3 hairdressers and two banks a postoffice. The people are generally friendly. I am currently living outside the village but wish to move to the village as it has good transport links north and south having a train station and a good bus service. There is a primary school and nursery, a village hall and filling station and a garden centre 5 miles away or so. A great place to live.
