I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

Having relocated from Essex and now having lived in the Beccles community for 19 years, raising a family, it’s a great place to live. It’s safe, friendly and surrounded with the beautiful countryside of North Suffolk’s Waveney Valley. Beccles is around 14 miles inland from England’s most easterly point of Lowestoft with its award winning beaches and some 18 miles from the fine Cathedral City of Norwich with its cosmopolitan lifestyle. Beccles is located at the most Southerly navigable point of the Norfolk Broads and as for night life it boasts a great range of pubs and restaurants. To summarise Beccles as a town and place to make a home.....is hard to beat!
