Hi, I am buying an apartement in Luton & agent said lease is 950 years. How to confirm & who can give the best advice?

Ask for a copy of the lease, this will confirm when the lease started and how long it will run for. If you are in the process of buying the apartment already, then your solicitor/conveyancer will have to be given a copy of the lease in any case.

The agent has to be right as it is against the property misdescriptions act, so it has to be right.
