What's it like to live in Berwick-Upon-Tweed?

What are the pros and cons of living here? Is there much greenery in the area?

  This is a wonderful area to live in but dont tell everyone! open spaces sea sun and beaches and peace on the roads,in fact we should have been here years ago , forget the big cities they have had it. perhaps i should not be sharing this with you come and see for yourself.

  Go every year for holidays. Love it BUT it is the only town I know that has NO public/municipal (free) parks. What a miserly lot the rich landowners must have been not to have provided such for their workers. Even poor industrial towns have public parks.
