What's it like to live in Billericay?
Are the people friendly? What are the local amenities like?

Great place to be if you ask me - I've thought about moving but not found anywhere as nice. There's a selection of around 5 pubs on the high street together with a dozen restaurants, with country and a number of things to do on your doorstop. Downside is that big supermarkets other than Waitrose are a drive away, and that depending on where you work (if London) can be on the long side. It's a 35 min train to Liv St, but depending on where you live / work, that could end up being an hour and a half door to door journey. Train service (as everywhere) could be better.

I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.
