My father rented a corner shop in bentink street when I was 3 years old. It was about 70 bentink street so the blocks of terraced houses were definitley pre WW2. They fronted directly onto the street and had external toilets. As i moved from UK to SA in 1982 I am sure that the houses have now been demolished. Hope this helps.
