Can I get a mortgage for a freehold flat?
I am looking to buy a flat and require a mortgage for the property. It is a freehold flat and I've heard that mortgage lenders are sceptical to lend for these types of properties. What advice can you give me on this?

Yes you can, a lot of lenders will lend on a freehold property however their criteria differs greatly, please check with an independent mortgage broker.
