What's it like to live in Bristol?

Is it a safe area? Is it an area on the up?

  • Bristol is a City of 2 million people and it very much depends where you live, like all big UK cites; however there are areas that are safe but not expensive-green bank in Easton for example. Bristol's greatest advantage, in my opinion, is its location. You can be in Devon, South Coast, Cotswolds or Wales within an hour. Shopping ,as you migt expect is exceptional as is the amount of green open space-hjust use google to see that; virtually every area of the City boasts a green open space and two enormous spaces, The Downs and Ashton Gate are right in the City. Ive lived in many areas of the UK and have been the longest here. Enough said.

  • We would suggest that you check out the local Tourism website & check the crime rates for the area. Do some research on the internet – it’s worth calling a few of the agents too to get some advice. Spend some time in the area that you are interested in too – try to get a feel for the place. Good Luck!

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
