I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

Check upmystreet.com and www.crimeinmyarea.co.uk they will give you a good indication.

FANTASTIC - great place to bring up a young family. quiet and peaceful, great beaches. Work can be menial, but you cant swap the area, lack of pollution, etc.
