Site Wind Turbine in Garden
I plan to site a 15m wind turbine in my garden, 15m from my house. Will this add, remove or prove neutral to the value of my house ?

There is some discussion about this at the site in the following link. But valuation is an art not a science: a valuer valuing an estate property should normally be accurate within about 5%, elsewhere the margin may be greater. Some prospective purchasers may see having free electricity and the chance to sell to the National Grid as an advantage: others may see it as unsightly, see www.segen.co.uk/eng/wind/selling.htm. The turbine should be installed by a competent person so that it is safe and with a proper guarantee that could benefit a future purchaser of your property. Regular service records (by a competent person ) should be kept.
