You can check with Land Registry for the date of construction and to determine the value, speak with a local agent.

As long as the property is registered then you will be able to obtain a copy of the title deeds from your local Land Registry office or website. They will contain the date that the property was built. To find out the current market value, you will need to speak to local estate agents.
