Where is the best area to buy to let in Cambridge?

    Hi elliemrja - Hope your search for a buy to let property is going well. I do not know the Cambridge area that well, but I do know that there are several areas in Wisbech that are great for renting out - currently you can pick up a decent 3 bed property suitable for renting out for between £80k-£125k which presently should rent for anywhere between £600-£700 PCM depending on size, condition and whether its furnished or not.

    All areas are good for buy to let, although the yield is pretty poor in cambridge. I'd avoid surrounding villages because the demand is lower, although people do get squeezed out into renting there
