Sole Agency Agreements and other agents, what are the fees?

My estate agency agreement is on the 'sole agency' basis. It has no specified time period, just 2 weeks notice to terminate. If another agency introduces potential buyers and they subsequently proceed, what fees are due? [I have been approached by another agency, who wants to 'help', should I get them involved?].

  • You should ensure that you are no longer bound by your original estate agents agreement before entering into an agreement to sell your property with another agent i.e. Give Notice or you may have to pay two fees dependent on the terms of the agreement
