  • Hi Angelmz, When it comes to working out the exact band for your property, it will all come down to how much the home was worth in April 1991, with a sliding scale for charges being worked out from this, ranging from the cheapest, or band A for properties worth less than £40,000 to band H for those worth more than £320,000. However, since you know the street and a partial postcode for this property, you can look at the website of the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) which is a part of the Inland Revenue and find out the band for specific properties. You can see the results for the street you specified by clicking the following link below. As you can see though, there are a number of different bands in the same street, so it will be vital to know which property you refer to to work out any specifics. Thanks, Scott
