What's it like to live in Talybont?

How does it compare to the areas around? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • Talybont is one of the last remaining villages that has a lot of amenities, i.e a school, a garage, 2 pubs (one of which is more a drinking pub and the other; more up market, with a good reputation for cuisine), a printers, a chemist, a Spar, a very prolific Agricultural show in August and best of all the countryside and walks are fab. Talybont has a very strong community! Quite a few things go on throughout the year in our large community hall and there is a great feel here for tradition. And the commute to and from Aberystwyth is no more than 15 mins at the most, usually more like 10 mins, which is a far cry from living the same distance, south of Aber, the traffic is always congested towards Aberaeron, we know because we lived that direction some 10 years ago. Bus service is very regular, but unfortunately can't do anything about the weather. Hope this is of some help to you.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
