What's it like to live in Chatham?
What are the local amenities like? Is there much greenery in the area?

It's a fairly built up area, though you do have places like Capstone Park which is a nice expanse of greenery over several acres. Nearby in Gillingham you also have the Riverside Country Park which is similar. You also have the local High Street which is still quite bouyant, and the Pentagon Shopping Centre. Out of town you have the Dockside outlet.
