How much does it cost to advertise a house for sale?

Supposing a house or flat is on this website, or any other 'house-for-sale' website, then how much does it cost for the house owner to keep it advertised as being for sale?

  • You would need to contact this website or any other to see if you can advertise property. I believe you need to register as an agent first, then you will know what the cost will be. Some websites are free, but not the main two.

  • Hi, The majority of property portals including Zoopla and Rightmove are only open to estate agents to advertise on and therefore you would be unable to pay an additional fee to keep a property on the market. In order to keep a property on the market on Zoopla / Rightmove, the property must be instructed for sale with an estate agent. Each agents fees will vary and there could be different marketing packages available, it's always best to clarify your marketing package and therefore exposure your property will get with your estate agent prior to coming onto the market. We hope this helps.
