  • Malpas is a lovely little semi-rural village. Has quite a few shop i.e. Co-op and others and restaurants and pubs especially country pubs with good restaurants. It is only 4 miles from Wrexham and 4 miles from Whitchurch (which has a local rail station) and only 20 mins from Chester. Manchester is about an hour away. There are good local churches and it has a good community spirit and lots of good country walks. It is surrounded by lovely countryside and is well known for being "horse" country. I live a mile outside in No Man's Heath and there are plenty of commuters to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester living in the area. The local School, Bishop Hebor, is a well renowned school and very sort after as are the local primary schools. It is an extremely safe area with little crime and little anti-social behaviour problems (usually only around the pubs in the centre of the village after closing time).

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
