Putting an offer in on a property

I want to put an offer in on a house where there is supposed to be quite a bit of interest in it. When all offers are in and mine is not the highest, is the estate agent obligated to get back in touch with all interested parties who bid lower to see if they want to put in a higher offer?

  • The most common way of dealing with multiple offers on a property is to go to a ‘Best and final’ scenario where upon each interested party has the opportunity to put in their best offer by a certain date and time.
