What's it like to live in Chichester?
Are the people friendly? Is it an area on the up?

It's great! quite a quiet town, not as busy as portsmouth or worthing but a lot prettier i think. Property prices are fairly high in the city centre but slightly less in the various villages on the outskirts. Donnington is a nice village, 10 minutes walk to chichester city centre, on a canal with prices a lot cheaper than other parts of chichester considered in the city but father away than donnington. There are a few bars, lots of village pubs, shopping is ok but with brighton and southampton an hour away you have options. Also you have the sea 10 minutes away and the award winning wittering beaches.

I don't live in Chichester but I visit very often and love the shopping, restaurants, cinemas, schools and colleges, cathedral and how near it is to Brighton Hove Portsmouth etc. Good road and rail connections - I think if I didn't live and work in Worthing, I'd choose Chichester!

Chichester is unfriendly and overpriced. It's not a place to make friends.
