What's it like to live in Clevedon?
What kind of people live around here? Is it an area on the up?

Bit late - but ..... Clevedon is quite a sleepy victorian town. It depends on who you are - so you may think clevedon is perfect or rather boring. We have 5 primary & infant schools and one up & coming comprehensive ( i.e. recently introduced blazer & tie for all uniform - & all ages tutor groups). We have one public swimming pool and The oldest, purpose-built, continuously operated cinema in the World. We have an old fashioned prom & a victorian pier. Quite a few pubs a few nice restaurants. Many people who live here comute to Bristol & the surrounding towns. I would say that most people who live here like a quiet life, but we are 2 min off Junction 20 of the M5 so it is easy to escape for a night out in Bristol or to shop @ the Mall in Cribbs Causeway Bristol. Is Clevedon on the up? i would say we are already there (perhaps we got there 100 years ago and have changed only slightly) - Kirstie Allsopp seemed to like clevedon if that is of any help!

We would suggest that you check out the local Tourism website & check the crime rates for the area. Do some research on the internet – it’s worth calling a few of the agents too to get some advice. Spend some time in the area that you are interested in too – try to get a feel for the place. Good Luck!
