Yes Clydebank is a very safe place , but like all areas it has its problems but these are few & far between. Clydebank has very good shopping facilities in the town & on its doorstep, with glasgow city centre a 20min train ride away.Or take a 20 min car ride in the opposite direction & your at the beutiful scenery of loch lomond and the trossachs national park. All in all its a good place to live

As safe as anywhere else in Glasgow area?

Absolutely yes, Clydebank is safe, there are incidents of crime in every town and Clydebank is no different. Clydebank is a nice town with nice streets, parks, shopping and recreational facilities and West Dunbartonshire Council have plans to develop the town centre further creating lots of new housing and a new leisure centre.
