It's mostly friendly with various shopping options scattered about. There are several quieter residential areas which are a pleasure to live in and the worry of street crime is not at the forefront of people's minds as it would be in many other towns. There are few pubbing options compared to the lively town it once was before the smoking ban. Although there are quite a few restaurants both new & longstanding which are down the highstreet, and scattered around the town and surrounding smaller towns are several takeaways. Hope this helps. It is but a brief personal opinion of the area.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area.
You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.

I've lived in Coalville for the last 7 years and the people are friendly and welcoming. I live along Oakham Drive in Agar Nook, I have found that it is very safe and a very quiet area. There are lots of green spaces and nice walks. Local COOP's are handy and schools are great.
Its only 20 mins from Leicester and 10 from Loughborough. I commute to Birmingham every day and its an ideal location for access to the M1 and M42.
The town centre is a bit of a dive, but the retail area near Morrisons has pretty much everything you need in it. I have really enjoyed living in Coalville.
