  • An agent acts for the seller of a property. It is up to the seller whether to keep advertising the property after an offer is accepted or not (many sellers do this in case buyers can't get a mortgage or withdraw for other reasons) and the agent must act on the sellers instructions. Therefore, if a property is still being advertised this is the likely reason. That said the agent should have told you that was going to be the case and you could ask them if it is possible to remove the property from the market whilst your offer stands.
