How much was B64 5BZ worth in April 2006?
I bought this house in April 2006 for £118,000. My mortgage is with Northern Rock who valued the house at £117,000. Because I liked the house I brought it anyway. I now think I did not get a good deal because if it WAS worth £117,000 as Northern Rock said I could have got it cheaper (around £115,000). I need to know how much it was worth at this time PLEASE!! (This was a PRIVATE sale through a relative and it has caused an argument in the family. It came to light a month ago when I had an estate agent come to the house who valued it NOW at around £110,000. I am angry because I feel I am going to lose out. I know house prices have fallen but I need to know if what I paid for the house in April 2006 £118,000 was a good price or was I robbed. Please inform me so I can resolve this matter. THANK YOU!!
