    I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are, this will also give you a guide to house prices and movement of the market within the area. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

    Very nice and I felt safe ( there for a couple of years 2003/4 ). You would need cable or sky though as the TV reception is awful: it is near Winter Hill transmitter but large hills block it ! Yes overall a pleasant place esp Cemetery side ,south on A666 without big town or city attitudes.
