Can I live in a mobile home all year?

I need a 2 bed property that I can live in all year if needed(buying in Spain too). I know that at Rockley Park you cannot stay all year. Where is this possible please?

  • Unfortunately Dorset councils (under the guise of the Town and Country Planning Act) only allows 11 month occupancy. For a park owner to extend this to full term living is cost prohibitive.

  • I'm afraid it is the pretty much the same throughout the country. Under the guise of planning laws they will residencies restricted to 8-10 months a year.

  • Some mobile homes can be lived in all year round but they are not found on holiday sites. There are lots of mobile home parks in and around the Poole & Bournemouth Area but they are priced at around £90,000 - £150,000.
