Where is a good area near Belfast?

I'm looking to buy and do up a place near Belfast, where is a good postcode in terms of area to buy? desirable for families/schools etc.

  Personally I would choose areas near collages, schools, shops, travel routes i.e tran stations and bus stops. Also I would use the www.police.uk website to search for area that are low in crime.
