How can I find out if my house is ex local authority?

You could always go to the council and ask them they would have had a list that would show which houses they once owned.

Hi, there are a number of ways to check whether a property is ex-local authority, one being asking the relevant local authority. Another way is to look at the surrounding properties and area, if other properties in the locality are local authority properties then it is likely that the one you are looking at maybe too.
