  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are, this will also give you a guide to house prices and movement of the market within the area. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

  • Got busier over the last 5 years.Neighbours are good. Plenty of shops and entertainment. But a lot of people out of work and happy on benefits. Drug and alcohol is a problem, but nowhere near as bad as bigger towns. I would not feel safe to walk at night in shopping precincts.

  • It's like any other area, it has a top end to the market, a bottom end and the bit in the middle. But the council tax is over the top by a long way. It's a good place if you work in retail, and has a very good selection of top shops on Cheshire Oaks and better still it's got the best M&S store in the country.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
