We had to pull out of a sale in Evesham , the house had subsidence, is this an issue in Evesham?

Evesham is a river town. Rivers are not static, they change the landscape and move with time, so it is possible. The legal pack should tell you whether there is a risk of subsidence or flooding in a particular area.
