What's it like to live in Ferryhill?

Is it a safe area? What kind of people live around here?

  Ferryhill is as safe as any area. I like it here. I moved to Ferryhill i year ago from Norfolk although originally from the South East . The area of Dean Bank had a bad reputation and the council were proposing a redevelopment scheme which is now cancelled due to lack of funds The area is ok and properties are ideal for first time buyers Have one for sale in Rennie Street but because the council have given people the impression that it is an undesirable area prices have dropped dramatically
