Chilton - County Durham

Hi all. I have seen a terraced property, 2bed in chilton, CD for sale at 17k. Does anyone know what the area is like? Was thinking it could be a good investment to rent out. The owner is selling due to relocation to be near family. What is the area like? Price seems very cheap - is it a bad area? Thanks lee
