I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are, this will also give you a guide to house prices and movement of the market within the area. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

Frodsham and it's local surrounding areas are nice quiet rural places with a low crime rate, good range of housing, and easy road and rail links to the main shopping places. I've lived here for 30 years. See the local magazine web link.....

Its a pretty nice place, and prices are not excessive when compared with other places in Cheshire. You have good access to everywhere, as you can be on the M56 and M6 very quickly. There is also a good train link to Manchester. The primary schools are very good as is the local comprehensive in Helsby. The only downside is that it is very close to the motorway, and most of the town you can hear it as background noise and you will have a view of the Ineos chemical factory in Runcorn from the lower parts of the town. You have to live in the higher parts of Frodsham and that can be very expensive in comparison to the rest of the town. However on comparison with places like Knutsford, Stockton Heath, Lymm, Tarporley etc Frodsham is much better value for money, and a lot less snobbish.
