Is Dumbarton Road safe?

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a flat in Dumbarton Road, is it a safe area?

  My daughter lived there for 2 years on her own and it was always very quiet, like anywhere just be careful.

  I think that area is ok, but it depends in what you mean by safe ??. Yes good to bring family up, near all the things in the city, otherwise it is ok.
