Do you need a home report to sell your house and how much does it cost?

  • If you are talking about the HIP packs then they are no longer required, but you will need an energy performance certificate before an agent can market your property, if you shops around these cost around the £40 to £60 price range, if you already have a HIP pack then your EPC will already be included within that pack so you wouldn't need anything else.

  • HMUKSHROPSHIRE - This question was asked for the Glasgow, Scotland area. Our Home Reports are different from the English HIPs and yes, you do need one to sell your home - the price can vary depending on your home.
