The best advice I can give you is to contact your local letting agents. They will be able to advertise your property on the major property portals, such as Zoopla and Rightmove etc... You can also rest assured that your prospective tenant will be fully referenced, the agent should also make sure that you meet all of your legal obligations as a landlord, giving you peace of mind. Ensure that any agent you have to value your property shows evidence of how they have reached the price they have suggested, and don't let them 'buy your business' by over valuing your property.

Completely agree with the answer above. It is not always advisable to use the agency who gives you the highest quote, as this may mean your apartment does not get let. It is also worth doing a little research on the agency, find out who they use for their reference checks and find out their requirements. This would then point you in the direction of getting the best tenant, also somebody who pays their rent on time!
