  • Hi akindfarmer, If you are buying near to student accommodation, then the number of people who will be there throughout the summer will depend entirely on what kind of property it is. However, in general, most students will return to the parental home throughout the summer, and any student-based areas will be quieter during this period. If the accommodation is that which is owned by a university or a college itself, then you are likely to see it become very quiet in the summer, as most of these see the vast majority of lets between the September to may period of the academic year. With private rentals, there may very well be more people there during the summer, but as mentioned above, it should generally be quieter than at other points of the year. Thanks, Scott
