Missing property sales?
Why do some property sales not show up? I know of several that don't appear, even years on. Do the Registry hold some back? For instance Shires Barn in HG3 3RZ was sold in the early 2000's and the sale has never appeared. Surely holding back details distorts the value of the register?

Some sales do not appear on the land registry, usually repossessions and auction properties. It could also be down to human error if the odd property sale does not show up.
