Do properties on Darcy Gardens have japanese knotweed?

  • Yes they do. This is a particularly difficult situation for residents of Darcy Gardens as the knotweed is being allowed to spread from apparently unadopted land. I am the invasive weed consultant working for what would seem to be the only resident to care enough to protect their property. Despite contact from myself and even the local police, a number of other residents it would seem, are willing to wait until such time as they come to sell to realise the situation they are in, that they can't sell until it is dealt with.   • We would suggest that you check with the Local Authority for the area. They will be able to provide you with all the information you require. Best Regards.

  • The local authority have been little no help. My client has had to pay out for remediation of his area himself the rest of the road is still very much affected and the local authority dosn't want to know.
