  • It is not always easy to tell. If the house is newish 20-30 years you could look at the install date on the meters. Sometimes the land registry defines a house as newly built on its earliest sale. For flats you can look at when the lease was first granted, but this is the first sale rather than the actual build. Sometimes you can only estimate. For a guide as to how to make an educated guess read below.
