What's it like to live in Hope Valley?

Is there much greenery in the area? What are the pros and cons of living here?

    I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

    Fantastic! The scenery rivals the best in England, the people are friendly, there is a great community spirit if you look for it, good schools, and the amenities of a large city - Sheffield (Theatres, cinemas, shopping etc.) - are 30 mins away. You do need a car, but there is a limited bus and train service to Sheffield and Manchester. The M1 is easily accessible. I've lived here for over 25 years.
