What's it like to live in Hove?

Is there much greenery in the area? What are the pros and cons of living here?

  • I love Hove! It's a vibrant and cosmopolitan town, which has something for everyone. So much do and see with so many events in the Brighton and Hove area all year round. As for greenery, there are many parks and squares in addition to the spacious greens on the seafront. The cons of living here, in my opinion are the high cost of living and the lack of parking - however this would not put me off, it's worth it!

  • I love Hove too, everything's there, laid back and a better friendly atmosphere compared to Brighton. Also the architecture is great and is well looked after

  • Hove is great, it has so much to offer for everyone. It has the most beautiful seafront, the Downs back onto it (if your into walking that is) and the parks are just beautiful from spring through to summer with events held regularly on Hove Lawns and in the local parks. If you want to find out about events look on the Brighton & Hove council website. You can also apply for a residents permit at £31.00 per three months or £106.00 per year but this does vary per area. All in all a beautiful place to be

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
