The approximate cost of a brick built double garage
I am interested in the cost of building a double garage at a house I am interested in. It would have a pitched roof and would be detached.

I had one built approx 6 years ago, it cost me 10k that included the foundations. i think it might cost more now but might also depend on where you live and who does the work. Get three quotes and go from there. we got three quotes and 10k was the cheapest, also the builder came recommended. ours is a double garage so don't know whether you are having single or double but size will make a difference.......it always does. lol

I think the above answer is spot on although I think 15k is probably more likely. Generally a rough estimate of about £60 per sqaure foot should give you an idea.

Always choose a recommended builder who can warranty their work. Prices will vary, so will workmanship.
