What's it like to live in Ilminster?

Is it an area on the up? Are the people friendly?

  • Excellent, geographically it is well placed forthe A303 Exeter to London and M5 in nearby Taunton (11 miles), Friendly everyone talks to you with good amenities. Recently commented on in the Sunday Mail as the up and coming market Town of Somerset, with house prices competitive in the South-West.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.

  • Does anyone have a more recent view? I only read good things about Ilminster but would welcome the opinion of people who currently live there as I am looking to move to either Somerset or East Devon, and Ilminster seems like a great option. Are there many young families in the town? Is it up and coming? How does it compare to the surrounding towns? Thanks
