What's it like to live in Inverness?
How does it compare to the areas around? Are the people friendly?

Inverness combines the buzz of city life (similar to Chester for instance) - top shops, active social scene and superb facilities - with a unique setting (Loch Ness and the Highlands literally on your doorstep). Where else can you pop out to enjoy a rock concert, a ballet performance, an indulgent shopping trip, a leisurely stroll along the beach or a day's skiing. And if you have a young family there are very few places in the UK that combine a rewarding and healthy lifestyle with relative safety on the streets. Inverness is Scotland's best-kept secret, believe me.
